Portfolio Construction Analyst

We are currently seeking a skilled Portfolio Construction Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of client portfolios, analyzing investment options, and ensuring that core portfolios deliver on their goals.


Main Responsibilities:

* Portfolio Management: Manage client portfolios in conjunction with agreed client mandate and Investment Committee guidance.
* Investment Analysis: Analyze client portfolios with a strong focus on asset allocation, performance, and risk drifts.
* Client Liaison: Serve as a point of contact between the team and Client Advisers on all investment issues.
* Portfolio Alignment: Work closely with the Investment Strategy & Investment Selection teams to ensure portfolio alignment with client goals.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* A relevant 3rd level Degree or Masters in business/finance/accountancy or engineering.
* The APA Savings and Investments qualification or equivalent is desirable.
* Willingness to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
* Excellent information technology capability, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of Bloomberg Analytics tools beneficial.
* Demonstrable interest and understanding of investments and financial markets.
