Salary: €51,722 - €61,865
The Role
The Curator – Collections reporting to the Head of Collections will work closely with the Head of Collections as well as the Exhibitions, Education and Outreach and Conservation Divisions. They will manage the collection digitally through The Museum System (TMS) as well as through paper files, ensuring all information is uploaded and is correct. They will capture and input all new information and research on the artworks and make sure it is correctly disseminated as directed by the Head of Collections. They will provide correct and updated information on the collection when requested.
They will have a deep knowledge and understanding of current visual art practice as well as an excellent knowledge of late 19th and 20th century art. They will have sufficient scholarship to assist the Head of Collections with collection displays and exhibitions and have a good understanding of donations and legacy.
