Senior Data Scientist – Dublin
Location: Molesworth Street, Dublin (Hybrid – 2 days a week in office, moving to 3 days from January 2026).
Join AIB as a Senior Data Scientist in our Customer Base Management team within the Chief Customer Office (CCO). This role focuses on designing and analyzing experiments (A/B tests, online and field experiments) to drive customer‑centric initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
* Work closely with the CRM and Data Science teams to design, implement, and analyze experiments; provide expertise on causal inference and validity.
* Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROI, uplift, conversion, and churn through dashboards.
* Contribute to pre‑ and post‑campaign analysis, delivering clear recommendations with statistical rigor.
* Support the development of measurement frameworks to evaluate CRM, lifecycle, and promotional campaigns.
* Extract, transform, and clean data for modeling and analysis.
* Enhance efficiency of data pre‑processing, analysis, and reporting via automation.
What You Will Bring
* Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, Behavioural Science, or Experimental Psychology.
* 3+ years of experience in a quantitative analytics role with experiment design expertise.
* Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SAS, R, or Python).
* Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, SAS Visual Analytics, QlikView, or Tableau).
* Strong communication skills, translating analytical insights into business recommendations.
* Inclination to innovate and familiarity with machine learning methods for heterogeneous treatment effects (bonus).
