Key Finance Role
A highly skilled and experienced finance professional is required to oversee the management of our accounting functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Lead the daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Supervise a part-time finance team member, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for external finance companies, managing payroll and account services.
* Analyse monthly financial reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
* Monitor income and expenses against established budgets and forecasts.
* Contribute to the development of annual budgets and reforecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.
Essential Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance environment, accompanied by a relevant financial qualification, or 4 years' experience at a similar level without formal qualifications.
* Proven expertise in sales and purchase ledger management.
* Knowledge of leading financial accounting software packages, including Xero and QuickBooks.
