The agency is a commercial entity that aims to deliver affordable homes on public and other land in a financially sustainable manner. It supports the creation of thriving communities and delivers ongoing positive social impact.
The agency has commenced construction on several projects on State land and has a delivery pipeline in excess of 17,000 homes. It also works in partnership with experienced homebuilders and will deliver a further 8,000 homes under the Government’s initiative.
Additionally, the agency is working on large-scale longer-term strategic areas by master-planning and bringing forward planning applications in locations such as Limerick Colbert Quarter, the Digital Hub in Dublin, and Sandy Road in Galway.
The Role
This is a new and very diverse role offering the right candidate an opportunity to take their career to the next level with responsibility for a range of transformative projects across the country.
Reporting to the Strategic Projects Lead, the Manager will assist in delivering strategic asset management of a residential portfolio. The role involves serving as the point of contact for the portfolio and supporting the effective management of the residential portfolio.
Role Purpose/Duties:
* Deliver strategic priorities and plans relating to Asset Management, ensuring good quality strategic asset management through delivering comprehensive services to enable institutional tenants to meet identified needs and aspirations.
* Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all assets, ensuring alignment and compliance with the wider strategic asset management plan.
* Acting as key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including approved housing bodies and local authorities.
* Develop and maintain robust data management systems to ensure accurate reporting on all lessor and lessee obligations.
* Prepare comprehensive reports for the senior leadership team and the Board detailing portfolio performance, returns, expenses, and risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum of 8 years of property/real estate experience.
* Third-level qualification ideally in real estate/project management.
* Excellent relationship management skills (both internal and external).
* Strong strategic knowledge of the residential real estate sector.
* Experience in building and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
* Knowledge of public procurement a distinct advantage.
