Barden are partnering with an innovative global tech group who are growing their tax team which is based in Cork by recruiting a Senior Tax Accountant.
Reporting to the Tax Manager, you'll work with both Tax and Accounting teams and collaborate with various departments within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and submit compliance returns (Corporation Tax, WHT, VAT) for European entities.
2. Review monthly tax provisions and reports.
3. Coordinate tax queries, reviews, and audits.
4. Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Reconcile tax accounts and prepare transfer pricing reports.
6. Identify process improvements and manage the compliance calendar.
7. Support the Accounting team with reporting activities.
About the person:
Ideally, the successful person will be a qualified Tax Consultant and/or Accountant and experience across a variety of tax heads would be advantageous. You will be a strong communicator with good time management. The team has an open and collaborative culture, ideal for a tax professional's first role in industry!
