Job Overview
We are seeking an individual to assist with sales and customer service in a garden centre setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and offering product advice
* Maintain attractive and well-organised displays and stock areas
* Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and deliveries
* Ensure the garden centre area is clean, tidy, and safe at all times
* Support promotional activities and seasonal events
* Work collaboratively with the retail and horticultural team to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* A keen interest and knowledge in plants and gardening
* Horticultural training would be advantageous but not essential
* Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential
* A positive, approachable attitude with excellent communication skills
* To achieve and seek to exceed personal sales targets across targeted product areas
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Attention to detail and pride in presentation
* Willingness to learn about our product range and share your knowledge with customers
* Flexibility to work weekdays and public holidays as required
