HVAC TechnicianCES are an established Engineering Service Provider working primarily within the Irish Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device sectors.We are currently looking to recruit an experienced HVAC Maintenance engineer (electrically biased) to join our expanding team on a large multinational Cork Based site.The candidate should have a proven track record in a facilities or maintenance department and will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of all HVAC equipment in compliance with site GMP procedures and regulatory requirements. The scope of this role will include continuous monitoring, shutdown, scheduled maintenance/recalibration, LOTO, troubleshooting and reactive maintenance of all HVAC systems and associated equipment.Candidate must be capable of seamlessly integrating into an existing maintenance team & have prior experience in preventative maintenance & troubleshooting of HVAC systems.The candidate will report to the maintenance team lead and must have previous experience with CMMS systems.Start Date: ImmediateLocation: CorkRole Type: Staff - Permanent.Salary: Competitive & negotiable - DOEDuties include but are not limited to:Attend daily morning meetings with client maintenance teamDaily HVAC alarm review, mitigation and close-outRoot cause analysis of HVAC related issues.Carry out routine maintenance tasks on air handling units, extract fans etc. (Filter changes, belt changes, pulley changes, tensioning, laser alignment)Troubleshooting of HVAC system issues incl electrical / control fault findingTroubleshooting of room pressure alarms,Troubleshooting of HVAC faults, temperature control issues, fan control issues.Troubleshooting of Fume hoods, BSC's, isolators, etcManagement of smoke alarm isolations and re-instatements.Assist in cleanroom validation testingDaily checks on BMS HVAC alarms, and management of same.Management of LOTO for HVAC & Utilities associated loops.Education/Key CompetenciesLevel 6 Electrical or E&I Trade Qualified5+ years experienced in a similar positionWorking knowledge of common Electrical & HVAC test and balance instruments.Experience in HVAC controlsLOTO experienceKnowledge of HVAC and Utility systems and the ability to interpret detailed HVAC schematics, P&IDs and layoutsKnowledge of electrical wiring diagrams, BMS panel drawings etcKnowledge of BMS systems and associated HVAC alarms etc.Experience in working within a live manufacturing facility.Must be technically sound, with the ability to read and understand P&IDs, Schematics, layout drawings and technical specifications.Experienced in HVAC/Utilities/M&E systems/Process SystemsFamiliar with CMMS systemsCompetency in Microsoft word, PPT, excel, etcExcellent communication skillsFull driving license, own transport essentialJob Type: Full-timePay: €50,000.00-€60,000.00 per yearWillingness to travel:100% (preferred)Work Location: In person
