They are seeking to recruit an experienced senior finance professional to join their Corporate team and take ownership for regulatory reporting and compliance for all group entities.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the candidate will have responsibility for the following:Act as technical accounting lead for all businesses within IrelandManagement of the external audit process for all group entitiesOwnership and detailed review of Group and Statutory Financial StatementsOversee the preparation of monthly financial reports for presentation to the Leadership teamDrive improvement in reporting for group companies for consolidationResponsible for monthly group consolidationsAdopt appropriate accounting policies for the groupResponsibility for the business planning and forecasting, taking ownership of the budgeting modelTreasury managementLiaise with Group Tax and Compliance Manager on any tax issuesImplement best practice and process improvementsCandidate RequirementsQualified Accountant with a number of years' post qualification experience within a medium to large businessCapable of result delivery to tight deadlinesExcellent technical accounting experience and comfortable interacting at Senior Leadership team levelTrained within a Big 4 or Top 20 firmRemuneration PackageThe successful candidate can expect to receive an excellent basic salary and a range of large company benefits, including pension and health care, which will reflect the importance of the role to the organisation.
