Early Years Practitioner Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team. This role involves working closely with children with Autism, supporting their development, learning, and wellbeing in a nurturing environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* To teach/tutor children with a diagnosis of Autism, implementing and delivering their Individual Education plans.
* Assist the teacher in providing an environment that is caring, fun and safe for the children.
* Work in an environment that aims to reduce inappropriate behaviours and increase acceptable behaviours by following the appropriate behaviour protocols as set out by the pre-school or the behaviour support team.
* Promote the use of communication at all times among children.
* Provide early intervention education to enable children to reach long-term goals, learn basic life skills, functional activities, and independence.
Vacancy Requirements:
In order to be eligible for this role you will have:
* A degree in Early Childcare Education, Primary Education or any related field at level 8 or higher qualification
* Experience working with children desirable
* An interest in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
