What You Will Do
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams related to build and release of Unity 3D games and supporting CICD pipelines.
Ensure the stability, security, and reliability of build pipelines supporting all areas of game development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game development, QA, operations, and management to drive effective communication and stakeholder management.
Develop automation tools and processes to improve reproducibility and development efficiency.
Monitor, audit, and report on build systems and processes, incorporating observability and alerts throughout the CICD lifecycle and infrastructure.
Participate in code reviews and development processes related to CICD pipelines and automation tools to enhance engineering effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For
Extensive experience in a build and release role, with a solid understanding of software build and release processes, including CI/CD best practices for Unity 3D games.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation.
Experience with observability tools like ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog to monitor CICD stability.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and build management tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Gradle).
Familiarity with Unity integrations in CI systems; experience with Groovy is a plus.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, or Packer.
Experience working with public Cloud systems, preferably AWS, to provision resources for build and release processes.
Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration technologies like AWS ECS and EKS.
Ability to troubleshoot compute and execution environments across different platforms and operating systems, with an understanding of networking and security concepts.
Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment that embraces change and innovation.
Experience in the gaming industry, especially with Unity 3D game development and release processes, is preferred.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with automated testing and workflow automation processes.
