Role Overview
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Assistant to support our team with daily store operations and deliveries in our busy store in Dunnes Stores, Patrick Street, Cork.
This position covers 40 hours per week with full flexibility required across Monday to Sunday with at least two Saturdays per month.
Candidates must be flexible to cover shifts across all opening hours of 8 am to 8 pm and be able to commute to and from the store for early starts and late finish times.
Shifts worked on Sundays and hours worked over 39 hours are paid at time and a half.
Bank Holidays are paid at double time and we currently pay on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities
Organise stock within the stockroom.
Ensure the supply of stock to the shop floor for customers.
Operate pallet trucks and trolleys, loading and unloading boxes while adhering to health & safety protocols.
Check off and accept deliveries for goods in.
Keep the stockroom & cold-room areas clean, tidy, and organised.
Assist customers to find the right solution for their needs.
Advises customers in a professional and empathetic manner at all times.
Ensure stock levels are well maintained and the store is kept clean and tidy.
Act as a team player across all activities.
