Project Manager
Our client is a leading global EPCM company with worldwide operations and projects across Ireland.
They are looking for a Project Manager to work in medium and small-scale projects within their Sustaining and Site Services Team in the pharmaceutical sector.
The successful candidate will oversee project delivery, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
The role reports to the Director of Projects for Sustaining Capital and Site Services.
This position is ideal for an experienced professional with strong project management skills, commercial awareness, and a solid understanding of engineering principles, who can drive projects from concept to completion while coordinating stakeholders and project teams.
Location: Ideally based in Dublin, but open to Cork or other locations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of pharmaceutical projects from early concept through to detail design and implementation
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, CSA, E&I) to ensure successful project execution
Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules and budgets
Track project performance, including cost, scope, and timeline, ensuring commercial and contractual objectives are met
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Act as primary liaison with clients, contractors, and design partners
Lead change management processes and progress reporting
Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks and quality management systems
Requirements:
Engineering / Architectural or Commercial qualifications
Considered for candidates with strong project management experience
5+ years' experience managing engineering or construction projects in the pharmaceutical sector
A broad knowledge of project governance from progress measurement, to change management and reporting.
Proven experience managing projects through all lifecycle phases, from concept to completion
Strong knowledge of project governance, including progress measurement, change management, and reporting
Commercial awareness and understanding of project performance metrics and contractual obligations
Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively
Commitment to a strong health and safety culture and compliance with quality management systems
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Self-motivated and able to engage and collaborate with clients, design partners, and project teams
