Flexible 20–30 hours per week initially
We are looking for an experienced qualified accountant to join our growing practice on a flexible part‑time basis, with the opportunity for the role to develop into a full‑time position for the right candidate.
The role offers flexible working hours together with a blended office and remote working arrangement.
You will work directly with a varied portfolio of SME clients, preparing accounts and tax returns while providing ongoing support and advice.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of year‑end accounts for SMEs, sole traders, and partnerships
Preparation of corporation tax returns (CT1s)
Preparation of income tax returns (Form 11s)
Reviewing bookkeeping, payroll, and reconciliations using cloud accounting software
Preparation of management accounts where required
Client communication and advisory support
Liaising with Revenue, CRO, and external advisors
Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Irish accountancy practice
Strong knowledge of Irish tax and accounting standards
Experience with Xero, Bright Books, and accounts production software
Ability to work independently and manage deadlinesStrong communication and client relationship skills
