Apply to see how you can become part of our team!Taoglas is looking for experienced antenna and RF designers for antenna design, wireless device optimization and customer technical support.Main Purpose:You will be helping to deliver state-of-the-art smart antenna design, standard & custom antenna integration and design projects as well as help with R&D functions within the group. You will be responsible for design and test of RF circuitry for radio products, active antennas and antenna systems.Responsibilities:To design and develop antennas mainly from (but not limited to) 100MHz to 8GHz.Design Active RF Circuits, Integration of LNA, Filter, antenna and other components.Optimize the Performance of the antenna and other RF Components for various IOT devices.Work with VNA’s, Far Field anechoic chamber, spectrum analyzer and other RF equipment.Work with Sales, R&D, Management, Production, Mechanical, Noise Control departments.To solve and support certification issues on wireless devices with customers.To suggest improved PCB layouts to help customers improve RF performance.Ability to coordinate projects from initial customer meetings all the way to pilot production runs, including assisting in QC documentation, test standards, etc.Qualifications/Skills:B.Sc/M.Sc in Electrical or Electronics and Communication3 to 5 Years of Experience in Antenna/RF Industry.Hands on Experience in EM Simulation tools (CST/HFSS), ADS, AltiumHands on Experience in using lab equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Call Box)Knowledge in communication standards such as CDMA, GSM/GPRS, UMTS, HSPA, LTE, EDVO, WIFI, GPS, EDGE, 5G, UWB, GNSS and others.Other Skills & Abilities include:Excellent attention to detailAbility to work on own initiativeTeam PlayerAbility to travel as and when requiredFluent in English both written and oralReporting to: Engineering ManagerSeniority levelSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Taoglas by 2xGet notified about new Radio Frequency Design Engineer jobs in Enniscorthy, County Wexford, Ireland.We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
