We have an oportunity for an Audit Specialist with a Dublin based Asset Management Company who have developed a proprietary platform for trading & investments. Main Responsibilities: Assist with internal audits, including planning stages, fieldwork, interacting with auditees, coordinating audit findings with management, and drafting preliminary reports. Manage special audit projects as needed.? Contribute to the continuous auditing process within the Internal Audit Plan. Participate in the quarterly review of audit issues, collaborating with management to update statuses of past findings and audit resolved issues. ? Draft clear, concise, and timely working papers in line with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) for review by senior audit leaders. Prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations, in close collaboration with senior management. Promote best practices within the organization, emphasizing continuous improvement and raising awareness about internal controls, risk, and corporate governance. Develop a thorough understanding of finance, compliance, and market risk across the group. Track audit progress, ensuring alignment with expected timelines and scope. Manage projects to completion, escalating issues when necessary. Conduct audit reviews across different business lines. Utilize leading audit processes and tools, including data analytics, to enhance audit effectiveness. The right candidate will have the following: Bachelor degree; professional qualification (e.g. Chartered Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor) Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in an audit environment, preferably within the financial services sector. Experience in controls testing and/or internal auditing is desirable. Experience of managing audits/projects.
