Job Description:
We are seeking Part-time Safety professionals to join our Health & Safety Consulting team. Our multidisciplinary teams work on significant projects across various markets, including Buildings, Water, Aviation, Energy, Transportation, and Rail.
The primary responsibility will be supporting our teams with design safety coordination and provision of PSDP support.

Main Responsibilities:
* Fulfill the duties of the PSDP on behalf of AtkinsRéalis Ireland as outlined in the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.
* Support clients and designers on health & safety regulations on design and construction projects.
* Coordinate and attend design safety coordination meetings/workshops.
* Coordinate particular risks and prepare Preliminary Safety & Health Plans.
* Carry out site visits during construction relevant to PSDP coordination and work with contractor designers on design coordination.
* Coordinate the preparation of Safety Files.
* Provision of competent advice to clients and designers for compliance with legislation and best practice.
* Provision of safety support to internal and external teams for projects of varying scale and complexity.
* Management of dedicated projects including finance requirements of dedicated project.
* General health and safety consultancy services to clients.
* Health and safety support as part of project bids.
* Developing existing and new clients as part of our 'win work' strategy.
* Assisting the QSSE team with continuous improvement of our safety culture and assisting with key safety programmes.

Requirements:
* PSDP Safety Coordination experience.
* Sound knowledge of safety in design and construction safety.
* Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Experience in bid preparation and input to health & safety requirements.
* Experience in developing and improving company safety policies, culture and systems.
* Competent report writing with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage tasks concurrently across several projects.
* Flexible to travel to site and projects within Ireland.

Qualifications:
* Relevant Health and Safety Degree/Diploma qualifying for membership of IOSH or Engineering Degree recognised by Engineers Ireland.
* Certificate of attendance at Engineers Ireland/ACEI PSDP CPD training.
* Chartered member of IOSH or Chartered Engineer or working towards same.
