This is a hands-on opportunity where you will manage your own client portfolio, working with SMEs and limited companies across compliance, bookkeeping, and advisory services.
You will receive ongoing guidance from senior team members while enjoying the autonomy to build strong client relationships and contribute meaningfully from the outset.
Key Responsibilities Manage a dedicated portfolio of clients, including SMEs and limited companies Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Complete corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and personal tax computations Assist with bookkeeping and preparation of management accounts as required Liaise directly with clients, providing advice and fostering long-term relationships Support audit and assurance engagements when needed Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation Requirements / Skills Minimum of 2 years experience within an accountancy practice Proven experience dealing directly with clients, including SMEs and limited companies Part-qualified ACCA / ACA / AAT or actively working towards a professional qualification Strong technical understanding of accounting, tax, and bookkeeping principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proactive, well-organised, and able to manage multiple client deadlines effectively What Our Client Offers A supportive, collaborative, and professional working environment Ongoing opportunities for learning, development, and career progression Exposure to a broad and varied client base to enhance both technical and client-facing skills A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Benefits: Paid Holidays Performance Bonus
