Were currently recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a major residential development in Clonmel, delivering a multi-phase scheme with a projected 35 year programme.
Phase 1 is live, with Phase 2 scheduled to commence towards the end of this year, offering genuine continuity, stability, and the opportunity to take ownership of a project from early delivery through multiple stages.
This is an ideal role for a Site Manager who enjoys running residential sites properly programme-driven, quality-focused, and well resourced.
The Role Youll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a large-scale residential build, overseeing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high finish.
Youll work closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, playing a key role not just in Phase 1 delivery, but in setting standards and momentum for Phase 2 and 3.
Key Responsibilities Lead all on-site activities from groundworks through to handover Drive programme delivery across multi-unit residential phases Manage site logistics, labour, plant, and materials efficiently Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship Maintain strict health, safety, and environmental compliance Chair site meetings and communicate progress clearly to the project team Identify risks early and implement practical, proactive solutions Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and documentation What Were Looking For 5+ years experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor Strong background in residential construction (housing or apartments) Proven experience delivering projects to programme and quality targets Excellent leadership and organisational skills Solid knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and site best practice Relevant construction qualification or strong trade background Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and required site certifications Whats On Offer Competitive salary & benefits package A long-term residential project (35 years) with future phases secured Stability and continuity no short-term hopping between jobs A well-structured project team and resourced site Opportunity to play a key role in shaping Phase 2 delivery Interested?
