Were looking for a hands-on, proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving machinery, and taking real ownership of site reliability.
What Youll Be Doing Keeping their production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably Carrying out planned preventative maintenance as well as reactive fault-finding Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues across mixers, conveyors, motors, control panels, and pneumatic systems Identifying recurring issues and implementing long-term engineering solutions not just quick fixes Working closely with production teams to plan maintenance and reduce downtime Supporting improvement projects, machine upgrades, and safety enhancements Recording maintenance activity and supporting spare parts management Ensuring all work meets food safety, health & safety, and regulatory standards What Were Looking For 3+ years experience in maintenance engineering within food manufacturing or FMCG Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Comfortable reading electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams A practical, methodical approach with a focus on continuous improvement Knowledge of HACCP, OEE, and safe systems of work Recognised engineering qualification (Advanced Craft Certificate or equivalent) Why Join Kellys Bakery?
