Job Title – Accounts Assistant
Location: Carlow
Salary: €40K – €45K DOE
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join an established Building Contractor in Carlow.
What you need to do:
* Assist with accounts payable and receivable using ABM Accounting System
* Raise client invoices and match purchase orders
* Contribute to month-end and annual financial reports
* Bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations and posting
* Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required
* Maintain records and assist with inventory tracking
* Support cross-functional teams with general admin tasks
What you need to have:
* 3–5 years’ experience in a finance or admin role (or similar)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good communicator and team player
* Willingness to learn and grow across departments
* Use of ABM would be an advantage
* Qualified Accounting Technician/part-qualified Accountant desirable but not essential
* Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel
* Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of a team and on own initiative and good interpersonal skills
