HR Generalist Job Description
This role is responsible for serving as the Human Resources point of contact for employees. The HR Generalist will conduct weekly meetings with the Site Manager, and monthly discussions with the Life Science management team to align priorities and identify opportunities for additional support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serves as the Human Resources point of contact for employees
* Conducts weekly meetings with the Site Manager
* Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
* Participates in hiring decisions, interviews, conducts new-employee orientations, and monitors onboarding
* Partners with internal and external recruiting sources
* Provides day-to-day performance management guidance and accountability to management
* Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues
Requirements:
* Certification in Human Resource Management
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience with a Human Capital Management System
* Detail-oriented and problem-resolution skills
* Able to maintain confidentiality
* Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance with government and legal regulations
