St John of God Liffey Services invites applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Manager 1 based in Tallaght in Dublin South-West to provide support to Children with an intellectual disability and complex medical needs in our children's respite house. Clinical Nurse Manager 1 - Respite/Residential Services Permanent Full-Time ( SHCNM1-RESPIT077-JUN2026 ) The successful candidates must: Be on the current register as maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and preferably possess the RNID or/and Paediatric qualification. Have experience of enteral feeding, particularly jejunostomy tube feeding. Familiar with tracheotomy care Have previous relevant experience of caring for children with life limiting conditions and high medical needs is essential. Have at least 3 years post-registration experience in the specialty of intellectual disability. Strong, clinical, managerial and administrative skills evident in previous roles. Demonstrate evidence of continued commitment to professional development. Demonstrate evidence of promoting person-centered approach to residents with significant support needs. Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the inclusion, participation and community integration. Have excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant Health Act Regulations, HIQA standards and all other relevant legislation. Must be available to work a 24/7 roster of days and nights Must be available to work the On call roster as scheduled Should support the CNM2 as required in line with the needs of the service Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with non-verbal residents.
