We are currently looking to recruit an Early Years Educator to join our fun and energetic team. We operate a busy full day care setting, caring for children from 12 months - 12 years.
The position will be 30-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. The role involves the successful candidate to support and assist in providing an enriching learning environment that promotes our emergent play-based curriculum.
Role responsibilities.
* To complete daily responsibilities within your job description
* Support children within their environment promoting their holistic development
* Attend staff meetings and to continue CPD through training opportunities
* Complete observations and learning journals
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum Fetac Level 5 in Childcare OR equivalent
* Applicant must already be living in Ireland and ready to work
* Ability to look after children in a loving & caring manner
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to implement quality early childhood curriculum & creative skills to develop age appropriate activities
* Good working knowledge of the Aistear curriculum
* Understand & follow TUSLA regulations
* Naturally warm and respectful towards children and their needs
