Accounting Specialist
Description
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as an Accounting Specialist. This role involves overseeing the General Ledger (GL) and Trial Balance for entities, ensuring smooth monthly reporting to headquarters. The successful candidate will work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely preparation and filing of statutory accounts and tax returns.
* Oversight of monthly reporting for assigned entities in both US GAAP and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with all local regulations.
* Management of the transition and preparation of statutory accounts from US GAAP to local GAAP for assigned entities.
* Analytical reviews of monthly and quarterly data, responding to queries from local reporting managers and head office following monthly reviews.
* Collaboration with global teams to support the month-end close process and maintain ongoing compliance.
