Job Title: Lecturer (on academic programmes)
Reporting to: Faculty Head / Programme Director
Location: Griffith College Dublin
Job Type: Part-Time
Job Summary: The successful candidate will play an active role in the academic direction of the module including teaching, assessment and administration.
Responsibilities
1. Teaching the assigned classes as set out in the timetable for the module in Academic Year 2025/2026.
2. Carry out assessment, monitoring and evaluation of examination work, and providing an academic and consultative support to learners.
3. Attend to all module and programme administration in a timely and professional manner.
4. Produce examination papers and assignment questions, in conjunction with the module lecturing team and internal moderator.
5. Prepare and deliver your module in accordance with Faculty requirements (update module descriptor, assessment briefs and make resources available to learners via Moodle).
6. Provide reading lists for learners and revise these, in conjunction with the library on a semester-by-semester basis – please contact the library well before the term begins, as there is a lead time in book delivery.
7. Correct all assignments and examination scripts submitted both for semester one / two plus in addition to this the repeat August exams in accordance with the academic schedule of the Faculty.
8. Complete a Module Report at the end of Semester 1 and Semester 2
