We are recruiting for a Financial Administrator for our client, a renewable energy company, leading the way in Solar PV solutions for residential, commercial, and agricultural clients across Ireland. As they drive the green energy transition, they’re committed to innovation, sustainability, and delivering real impact.If you're a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career while contributing to a cleaner future.The RoleAs Financial Administrator, you’ll play a key part in managing the day-to-day financial operations of our business. From customer invoicing and supplier payments to tax compliance and grant administration, your work will directly support the financial health of the organisation.You’ll also collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including the SEAI, ensuring the smooth processing of documentation and claims. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working in a collaborative setting.Key ResponsibilitiesInvoicing & PaymentsPrepare and issue a high volume of customer invoices accurately and on timeMonitor outstanding payments and follow up to ensure timely collectionProcess and reconcile incoming paymentsManage supplier invoices and assist with accounts payableHandle payment queries from customers and suppliersTax Compliance (RCT & VAT)Manage RCT processes including verification, deduction, and monthly submissionsEnsure VAT and RCT filings are accurate and fully documentedFinancial AdministrationMaintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentationAssist with internal financial reporting and performance trackingSupport the Finance Manager with bank reconciliations, month-end close, and ad hoc analysisEnsure all records are audit-ready and compliant with regulatory standardsSEAI Grant AdministrationCoordinate documentation and submissions for SEAI grant applications and claimsEnsure full compliance with SEAI guidelines and reporting requirementsTrack and record grant-related expenses and paymentsLiaise with internal and external stakeholders to support grant deliveryGeneral SupportContribute to the ongoing improvement of finance and administrative processesProvide occasional general office support as requiredEssential Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a finance, accounts, or financial admin roleStrong working knowledge of VAT and RCT processesProficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero)Excellent attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident communicator with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to manage high volumes of transactions and meet deadlinesDesirableExperience with SEAI grant applications or public fundingBackground in construction, renewable energy, or a similar sectorExperience working in a fast-paced SME or scale-up environmentWhy apply?
