Role: Site Engineer Civils
Location Base: Covering our Projects in Limerick, Cork and throughout Munster

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work as part of a team in the delivery of multiple projects, embracing a “one team” culture.
2. Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies, and procedures on-site.
3. Be familiar with the HSQE management system and procedures, complying with statutory requirements.
4. Provide coverage and manage the day-to-day operations of the site when the project manager is absent.
5. Understand project programme and budgets, and their impact on project delivery.
6. Review and develop specifications and design drawings; develop solutions to design issues.
7. Utilize GPS, total station, and 3D scanner for setting out and collecting As Built data.
8. Complete technical reports, quality documentation, safety files, O&M, and progress reports.
9. Ensure design, materials, and workmanship meet specified requirements.
10. Use procurement software to manage materials and subcontractor orders.
11. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site staff, and stakeholders.
12. Conduct weekly site meetings to plan and coordinate works.
13. Interact with employer representatives, stakeholders, and the public.
14. Stay updated on industry standards and technology through CPD.
15. Show eagerness to learn, progress, and mentor junior staff; Glanua supports career development.
16. Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in water and wastewater.
2. Degree in Civil Engineering.
3. Interest in career development within an industry-leading organization.
4. Teamwork and project delivery skills.
5. Engagement with suppliers and subcontractors during procurement and delivery.
6. Ability to use initiative, problem-solve, and adapt during projects.
7. Proficiency in MS Office, GPS, total station, and CAD.
8. Strong communication skills and motivation.
