The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team and should be a strong 'technical all-rounder'. As theIT Support Engineer,you will be responsible for providing systems support and ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all IT Systems. The Role: Maintenance and support of Windows server systems, backups storage and Local Area Network technologies. Maintenance and support of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory Maintenance and support of client hardware, including roll-out of new clients, upgrades and hardware repairs including network printers. Ensure all IT security policies of the company are implemented and adhered to at all times. Review and updating of all IT process documentation. Maintenance of database software. Perform system backups. Gathering requirements and translating business needs into business solutions including technical recommendations Being a key contact on site for all IT related queries Perform system backups. The requirements: To be considered for the role you will need at least 3 years experience in the following: Windows 10/11 Storage Oracle SAN Server 2008 / 2012 Exchange 2010 / 2013 VMware Active Directory Networking Good problem-solving and communication skills. Pharmaceutical experience is an advantage. Education: A degree is Computer Science, BIS or related discipline is preferred.
