Role Purpose The Social Care Worker is responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to all day attenders at Serenity Care. This role ensures that services align with New Directions standards, promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care. Key Responsibilities Oversee and govern the assigned day service, ensuring smooth daily operations. Plan, coordinate, and manage activities within the assigned day service. Lead and supervise a team, providing guidance, oversight, and performance management. Ensure staff receive adequate training and maintain high professional standards. Build and maintain respectful, equal relationships with the individuals we support. Regularly report to the Service Manager on operational effectiveness. Continuously assess and meet the needs of those receiving support. Maintain open and effective communication with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care and support services. Implement operational plans as directed by Care Management. Candidate Requirements Degree in Social Care or current registration as a Social Care Worker with CORU. Strong commitment to the values of Serenity Supported Homecare Limited, ensuring an improved quality of life for individuals. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Experience working with individuals with complex needs in diverse situations. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
