 
        
        What You’ll Do
Data Integration & ETL: Design, build, and maintain efficient ETL pipelines using Microsoft Synapse, ensuring seamless integration from multiple sources into our data warehouse.
Data Modelling & Architecture: Develop and maintain robust data models and implement best practices in data warehousing and data management, ensuring data accuracy, security, and reliability.
BI Development: Create interactive dashboards and reports using the Microsoft BI stack (including Power BI), collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful data visualizations and analytical reporting solutions.
Collaboration: Partner with BI developers, data analysts, and business users to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions. Provide guidance on data best practices to team members.
Performance & Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data processing and storage solutions for maximum performance and availability.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
Experience: 6+ years in a Data Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Synapse, data integration, ETL, and data modelling.
Technical Skills:
 * Strong background in data modelling and data architecture
 * Proficiency in SQL and database query languages
 * In-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies
 * Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
 * Knowledge of big data technologies is advantageous
 * Certification in Microsoft Synapse or related tools is a plus
Soft Skills:
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
 * Excellent communication and teamwork skills
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
 * Detail-oriented, with a focus on data quality and accuracy
 * Portfolio of previous Power BI work is highly desirable
