This transformative project is being delivered on behalf of Fingal County Council, positioning Swords as a model for modern urban development. The residential development consists of 36 high-quality apartments across two adjacent sites in Seatown, Swords, County Dublin. Situated within Major Town Centre Zoning, the development is positioned opposite the upcoming Swords Cultural Quarter (SCQ), contributing to the town's urban renewal.Blackbird Parkis a transformative new social housing development located in Cabra, Dublin. This project will deliver a total of 95 A2-rated homes in partnership with Focus Housing Association, Dublin City Council, the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage, and the Housing Finance Agency. The development is situated on a 2.03-hectare site generously gifted by the Dominican Sisters and represents the largest scheme undertaken by Focus Housing to date. The total gross internal floor area of the development is approximately 8,700 square metres.Position DetailsPosition: Finishing Site Manager / Finishing ForemanRequirement: ImmediateLocation: Greater Dublin AreaJob type: Permanent / Full timeSalary: NegotiableReports To: Project ManagerMinimum experience required: 3 yearsRole and ResponsibilitiesAttending daily briefings.Overseeing site operations.Coordinate and manage subcontractors and other labour workers.Manage plant and labour returns.Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site.Maintain H&S records.Ordering and following up on site material deliveries.Liaise with site manager and subcontractor regarding programmes and coordination.Implementation of daily and weekly programmes together with the issue of programme detail to sub-contractors.Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.Attending site meetings as required.Maintaining site diary recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities.Ensure compliance with Building Standards and DBL Quality Management System.Duties and responsibilities may vary and are not limited to those listed above.RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.Relevant qualification in Construction Management or equivalent discipline.Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a proactive approach to work.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to deliver projects from inception through to completion.Self-motivated, with strong initiative and keen attention to detail.Excellent decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.In-depth technical and practical knowledge of construction processes, standards, and the regulatory environment.Ability to work effectively within a team and foster positive working relationships.Why Join Duggan Brothers?We offer the opportunity to work on meaningful and technically ambitious projects in a collaborative, professional environment.
