Contract type: Permanent contract (6-month probationary period)
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the Dublin Bus garage stores. The successful candidate will order, store and issue supplies and parts as required and work as part of the overall Engineering depot team. For more detailed information please see the role profile.
Summary of role and responsibilities (but not limited to):
* Order, receipt, urge, store and issue supplies/parts required
* Undertake an annual stocktake under the direction of the Procurement Manager
* Issue, receive and hold tools in safe custody
* Implement warranty procedures as directed
* Ensure that fuel and oil gauges and meters are maintained in working order
* Liaising with the Procurement Department in relation to slow moving and obsolete stock (i.e. disposal or return to main stores)
* Compile an annual report on codes with nil stock and no movement for 12 months, and recommend codes for deletion
* Prepare an annual report on slow moving stock and recommend action

* Good knowledge/experience of SAP, Excel, Word, email, etc.
* Ability to accurately record, analyse data and generate reports.
* Experience of stock control, preferably in an automotive environment.
