The Role
Job Title: IT Administrator
Reporting to: Centre Manager
Contract type: Fixed term for project duration (estimated 2 months)
Location: Blended
Purpose:
This is a project-based role to support the centre to upgrade the IT and telephony infrastructure, including setting up new solutions to support the work of the team and new activities.
Key Tasks:
* Technologies and Communication: Assess current IT infrastructure / tools and shadow team members to suggest new ideas for automation, improvement and cost saving initiatives.
* Team Support: Review written process and procedure of IT related tasks and update existing documentation to reflect current/new practices. Support the IT upskilling of existing and future team members by suggesting appropriate training and offering guidance.
* Centre Activities: As part of the team, ongoing promotion of the Centre, recruiting volunteers and VIOs, representing the Centre at events, collaborating with the team, lead projects, ensure GDPR compliance, and perform additional duties as needed.
Person Specification:
We are looking for a digitally savvy individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. You should be familiar with implementing new solutions and training users. You understand the importance of good data and processes, are resilient, adaptable, and passionate about the value of volunteering.
Essential:
* IT savvy
* Experience in building and managing IT solutions
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Desired:
* Familiarity with volunteering
* Confident with social media
* Training experience or qualification
* Ability to measure outputs, outcomes, and impact
* Working knowledge of the following tools:
* MS office suite
* Wordpress (for website)
* IVR solution suitable for 5-10 routing
* * Access to own car as place of work can be on locations across Fingal.
Key Information:
* Full-time, 2-month position (35 hours/week, Monday – Friday)
* Out-of-office hours and weekend work may be required
* Annual Salary: €32,000 – €37,000 (pro-rata), payable every 2 weeks
* Occasional travel across Fingal and Ireland
* 23 days annual leave (pro-rata)
* 4 days paid volunteering leave (pro-rata)
