The Person
EZ Living Furniture are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant/Recently Qualified Accountant who will be based in our Head Office in Galway city.
Job Responsibilities
Full responsibility for two group companies, including, but not limited to:
* Processing invoices, payments & expenses in multiple currencies.
* Managing VAT, VIES & Intrastat filings
* Performing bank reconciliations & maintaining the general ledger
* Prepare monthly management accounts
* Liaise with auditors on year-end accounts
Group responsibilities to include:
* Preparing budgets for various departments & variance analysis.
* Collaborate cross-departmentally with various stakeholders to resolve budget variances
* Departmental cost reviews
* Liaising with Internal Stakeholders on various queries.
* Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required.
Skills/Qualifications
* Qualified Accounting Technician/Part Qualified Accountant desirable
* Knowledge and experience in using an accounting software
* Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel
* The candidate should be a high-energy individual with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail
* Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of a team and on own initiative and good interpersonal skills
