The Role
Take full ownership for the retention and development (growth) of existing and new dedicated key group account (more than one hotel), connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Deliver new business from targeted key groups prospects, through effective and innovative commercial management, ensuring contractual obligations are met and accounts are pro-actively developed in cooperation with the operational team
Main Responsibilities:
Account Management:
* Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key accounts ( group hotels) in the hospitality industry
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
* Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Evaluate client risk and proactively work to avoid re-tenders or losses by strategic action
Ensure effective account development plans are in place for all customers, to incorporate budgetary and financial data and business development planning
Participate and take part in tenders
Business Development:
Identify new opportunities within group hotels who we don't currently have business with.
Generate new business by identifying and engaging potential hospitality clients.
Understand market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to anticipate opportunities and threats.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
Achieve or exceed sales targets through effective management of key accounts and business development efforts.
Develop and implement account strategies to increase sales revenue and profitability.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure deals that align with business objectives.
Develop and implement segment strategy/profitability campaigns and develop customer portfolios
Implement pricing and commercial terms strategy, whilst managing the negotiation of annual price revisions in line with contractual obligations and budget
Overall commercial offering to increase the amount the services to be able to present the different commercial options to the board and the customer.
Cross Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., production, customer service, logistics) to ensure customers receive the best possible service and solutions.
Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of products or services.
relationships with key/national contacts promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty via effective working relationships
Implement models and concepts that will support and direct the day-to-day development of the customer base, ensuring efficiency and performance in accordance with the business objectives, strategy and plans
Reporting and analysis:
Monitor account performance, sales trends, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Provide regular reports to senior management on key account activities, sales performance, and market insights.
Analyse account performance and identify areas for improvement or growth.
Work with the site to create and KPI for the scorecards, reporting on a monthly basis to the key stakeholders.
Customer Engagement and retention
Develop and execute customer engagement plans to increase account retention and long-term partnerships.
Overall responsibility for revenue and customer satisfaction, ensuring delivery of the appropriate level of service and maximising the commercial value of the account
Organize and participate in client meetings, business reviews, and presentations.
Develop and implement segment strategy/profitability campaigns and develop customer portfolios
Drive service excellence through strategic partnerships
