Applications are sought for Ad Astra Fellows within the UCD School of Sociology.
In support of the **** University College Dublin Strategic Plan 'Rising to the Future', UCD continues its ambitious plan to increase our faculty numbers by 500 over five years.

The School of Sociology holds a premier place in the field of sociology in Ireland.
It has a longstanding commitment to societally relevant research, interdisciplinary scholarship, and the provision of innovative and dynamic programmes at graduate and undergraduate levels.
These programmes are underpinned by an extensive and diverse range of staff specialisms that address the defining issues of the day.
Teaching and research in the school generally coheres around the following themes: Organised Violence, Peace and Nationalism; Migration, Religion, Gender and Identity; Computational Social Science and Networks; and Inequality.

€55,397 - €87,724 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
