Through deep client collaboration they support customers on the automation journey as they transition to smart methods of manufacturing that ultimately drive productivity and business efficiencies.Main Tasks:Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, VisionDevelop, test, commission & support machine control softwareDesign system architectures, develop process flows and software design specificationsDesign of equipment to CE, electrical, machinery safety and clients' standardsInterpret & develop design & validation documentation required for regulated industriesSpecification of control system componentsCollaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project teamCollaborate and support customers throughout an entire project life cycleSupport the improvement & creation of new control system standards and system standardisation with the latest technologiesExperience:Proven experience with automated machine design, specification & development is essentialStrong PLC, HMI/SCADA experience essential, preferably with Allen Bradley, Omron or Siemens platformsExperience in software architectures and design including GAMP, ISA88, ISA95, 21CFR Part 11 complianceExperience of equipment testing and debugAbility to create & review technical documentation for regulated industriesFamiliarity with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics essentialKUKA/Fanuc robot experience will be advantageousQualifications:A Level 8 qualification in relevant engineering or closely related discipline5+ years of experience desirable
