The Role
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our busy
and fast-paced warehouse team at Finol on a 12 month fixed term contract. In this role,
you will support the smooth and efficient movement of goods, ensuring accuracy,
safety and high-quality service as part of our daily operations. This is an excellent
opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a dynamic environment,
and takes pride in maintaining high standards across all warehouse activities.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for ensuring all goods are picked, checked and palletised
accurately and in timely manner, in line with Company procedures.
* Ensuring all goods are in the correct location and labelled correctly, reporting
any damaged or incorrectly located stock to your line manager.
* Responsible for rotating all dated stock as directed by Company procedures.
* To assist with monthly stock takes.
* Ensuring all equipment (e.g., ladders, forklift trucks, pallet trucks) is correctly
used and properly maintained.
* To know the locations of and practice correct handling procedures for
potentially hazardous products.
* To serve and assist customers when required at the counter and on the phone.
* Advising customers on any queries, which may arise in relation to products
and/or their orders, technical knowledge of the products will form a key part of
the role.
* Maintaining the site, to ensure it is in good and safe order, reporting any H&S our
security concerns as and when they arise to your line manager.
* General office administration and use of the computer for processing of orders,
checking stock and dispatch dockets.
* Any other duties as assigned by your line manager to meet the needs of the
business.
Key Skills Required
* Forklift license desirable.
* Warehouse experience advantageous
* Self-Motivated
* Hands on/can do attitude.
* A high level of accuracy/attention to detail along with good organizational skills
are key attributes for the position.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
* Excellent interpersonal skills, specifically excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work under pressure.
