The Role: As Assistant Leisure Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Leisure Manager in maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring the profitability of the leisure Club.Reporting to: As the Assistant Leisure Club you will report directly to The Leisure Manager (or such person as designated by management).Responsible for: As an Assistant Leisure Manager, you will be responsible for providing support in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the leisure facility, ensuring the smooth functioning of all leisure-related services and amenities.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Leisure Manager to ensure the Leisure Club operates in a guest-focused manner, exceeding expectations.Assist in managing all aspects of the member experience, from initial contact to ongoing satisfaction.Support the leadership and management of all areas of Leisure Club operations, maintaining high-quality standards.Work proactively to manage members and guests' experiences, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.Build and maintain strong professional relationships with members and guests.Support the Leisure Manager in taking full responsibility for the financial outcome of the Leisure Club, understanding, and working towards achieving departmental budgets. • Engage in sales efforts through up selling and guest care.Assist in leading the Business Planning Process for the Leisure Club.Participate in planning, executing, and reviewing operational activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.Collaborate with the Leisure Manager to regularly review and enhance products and services to improve member satisfaction.Support in maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the Club.Monitor and ensure all cleaning duties meet the required standards.Assist in ensuring timely maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the Leisure Club. Provide support in creating a learning atmosphere with a focus on continuous improvement. Offer proactive coaching and counselling to team members.Assist in monitoring and maintaining the productivity level of employees.Participate in staff interviews.Support in conducting training programs for staff and holding regular departmental meetings.Operate and maintain all relevant operating systems within the Leisure Club system.Implement class programs to meet the requirements of the Club and constantly review these.Collaborate in managing the revenue stream of swimming lessons and actively promote this for maximization.Benefits:The Só Hotel Group is an awarding company to work for.
