Strategic Financial Assistant

The Role:
* Support key financial processes: Assist with reporting, budgeting, capital accounting, treasury, and grants to drive results.
* Ensure compliance: Collaborate on audits and maintain adherence to regulations and policies.
* Analyse data: Conduct financial analysis to aid forecasting and decision-making.
* Engage stakeholders: Partner with internal and external partners on strategic financial matters.
* Drive process improvements: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
* Support team development: Guide junior staff and contribute to team growth.
* Maintain standards: Uphold confidentiality, adhere to GDPR, and meet personal performance targets.
Key Requirements:
* Essential: AAT or IATI qualified or part qualified in a professional accountancy body.
* Experience working in a finance team or audit practice.
* Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
