Business Development Executive Job Description
We are partnering with a leading MedTech engineering company to hire a Business Development Executive for their growing sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to break into the medical device industry and progress into a technical sales role.
The company provides end-to-end medical device development and manufacturing services for international markets, with a strong track record of growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and engage potential customers through market research, prospecting, and cold calling.
* Presentation of the company's services and generation of interest in MedTech development solutions.
* Qualification of opportunities and scheduling of high-quality discovery calls.
* Collaboration with senior sales leads on consultative sales processes from lead generation to closing deals.
* Partnership with marketing to identify relevant networking events and book client meetings.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, expanding sales territories.
* Attending client visits in Ireland and across Europe (occasional travel required).
* Maintenance of accurate sales activity records in CRM systems.
* Learning best-practice sales techniques from senior sales executives.
Requirements:
* Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
* 2–3 years' experience in a sales role, ideally involving outbound prospecting.
* High energy, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills.
* Excellent organisation, research, and multitasking ability.
* Strong networking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
