Senior Associate Mechanical Engineer Building Services (Dublin) Talent Curve Recruitment is managing a search for a Senior Associate Mechanical Engineer to join a premier multi-disciplinary consultancy in Dublin. This is a strategic leadership position designed for a high-calibre professional who is ready to influence the direction of the mechanical department, manage major client relationships, and lead a dedicated team of engineers. Core Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead the mechanical engineering delivery for large-scale, complex projects, ensuring innovative design solutions that meet NZEB and LEED/BREEAM standards. Project Ownership: Manage the full project lifecycle from initial master-planning and conceptual design through to technical specification and final site handover. Team Mentorship: Oversee the professional development of junior and intermediate engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Client Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for blue-chip clients, architects, and project stakeholders, ensuring long-term relationship retention. Business Development: Support the Directors in identifying new market opportunities, leading technical tenders, and contributing to the strategic growth of the Dublin office. Quality & Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs adhere to current Irish Building Regulations (Part L, Part F, Part B) and the highest industry standards for sustainability and safety. Candidate Profile Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (Level 8 or 9). Professional Status: Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with Engineers Ireland or CIBSE is essential for this level. Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in a building services consultancy environment, with a proven track record of delivering projects in the Dublin market. Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in HVAC strategy, thermodynamics, energy modelling, and complex MEP coordination within high-density environments. Software: High-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a strong understanding of BIM-level 2/ISO 19650 workflows. Attributes: A commercially astute leader with exceptional communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: €90,000 €110,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience and portfolio). Work Arrangement: Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days remote).
