We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team, specialising in the inspection and testing of thermal cameras. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet our high standards for performance, accuracy, and reliability before they are shipped to customers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our state-of-the-art thermal imaging technology.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform thorough visual and functional inspections of thermal cameras and related components.
* Conduct a range of tests to verify product performance.
* Use specialised software and diagnostic tools to calibrate cameras and identify potential faults or defects.
* Document and report all test results, quality issues, and non-conformances in a clear and timely manner.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
* Ensure all quality control procedures and standards are followed meticulously.
* Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in a quality control, testing, or manufacturing environment, preferably with electronic or optical devices.
* A strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
* A cooperative and enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
* Proficiency with diagnostic and testing equipment.
* The ability to read and understand technical specifications and product manuals.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A qualification in electronics, engineering, or a related technical field is a plus.
