We're a multi-franchise dealer group operating across Wexford, Carlow and Waterford. We're growing and we're looking for a sharp, qualified accountant to join the team at our Waterford site. This is a hands‑on role with real visibility – you'll work directly with the Finance Director and site management, and your work will shape decisions, not sit in a drawer.

What you'll do
Own the monthly management accounts for the Waterford site – P&L, balance sheet, departmental analysis, and commentary.
Partner with the site Dealer Principal and department heads to drive performance in New, Used, Aftersales and Parts.
Manage VAT, payroll, fixed assets, stock reconciliations and intercompany positions.
Lead year‑end prep and audit liaison.
Spot the trends the spreadsheet doesn't shout about – margin slippage, stock ageing, warranty leakage – and flag them early.
Contribute to group‑wide projects: budgeting, forecasting, system improvements, and new franchise integration.
What we're looking for
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
2+ years post‑qualification experience – motor industry experience is a big plus, but not essential. We'll teach you the trade if you bring the discipline.
Strong Excel and a comfort with data.
Commercially curious – you ask why the number is what it is, not just what it is.
Self‑starter who's comfortable owning their patch.
