Who We Are
Irish Life Financial Services (ILFS) manages employee benefits for corporate clients and is a market leader in Ireland for pensions and income protection, handling around 2,400 claims monthly. Successful applicants will report to a Team Manager and handle complex income protection claims, with opportunities for growth.
Role Responsibilities
* Assess new claims and determine medical and financial requirements
* Decide on claims once all evidence is received
* Calculate benefits and manage ongoing payments
* Review existing claims to ensure continued eligibility
* Consider rehabilitation options for claimants
* Communicate with Brokers, Employers, Claimants, and Doctors
* Develop technical and medical expertise
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in Income Protection claims
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Commercial awareness and customer service orientation
* Positive, solution-focused attitude
* Organized with reliability
* Interest in medical care & rehabilitation developments
* Knowledge of regulatory environments and control mechanisms
* Qualified or grandfathered in Claims Assessing under the Minimum Competency Code; if not, willingness to complete relevant qualifications
