Our company is a leading provider of Accessories, Hosiery, Luggage, Gifts and Jewellery in Ireland and the UK. Due to exceeding growth within our business, we are looking for a Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist to join our team.
The Role
* Process Purchase Orders, matching agreed product prices and discounts as required
* Set up products including descriptions, dimensions, and weight
* Liaise with Product Coordinators/Designers
* Coordinate shipping schedules and deliveries with suppliers
* Liaise with Shipping Agents/Forwarders to ensure proper documents are provided for Customs clearance and follow-up queries
* Update shipping intake schedules as necessary
* Conduct cost valuations
* Handle ad-hoc tasks and answer phone calls
Key Responsibilities
* Experience using ERP systems
* A 'Can Do' attitude and ability to work independently
* Strong interpersonal skills and high level of customer service
* Previous experience in Shipments/Imports/Exports is an advantage
* Excelled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel reporting
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Flexibility and adaptability
