We are hiring an Director of Nursingfor a Nursing Home in Co.Tipperary.ResponsibilitiesCarry out all statutory Person in Charge responsibilities in accordance with HIQA regulations and national standards.Provide strong clinical leadership and support to staff, encouraging a collaborative team culture.Oversee the organisation, administration, and day-to-day operations of the nursing home.Maintain high standards of professional, person-centred care.Ensure safeguarding policies are properly implemented, monitored, and followed.Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.Work flexibly, including night and weekend shifts when required.RequirementsHold a third-level nursing qualification with active NMBI registration and PIN.Have at least 6 years of post-registration nursing experience.Possess a minimum of 3 years’ management experience and 3 years’ recent elder care experience within the past 6 years.Hold a post-registration qualification in healthcare management or be willing to complete one.Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.Have a full, clean Irish driving licence with access to your own transport.
