Reperio have partnered with a leading retail company here in Ireland. They are looking for a skilled MySQL Database Administrator to join their team. As a DBA, you'll be the architect behind their data, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance. From designing robust database systems to fine-tuning queries, your expertise will drive their data-driven strategies. The potential candidate will be reporting directly to the Head of IT.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 4+ years' experience as a MySQL Database Administrator or similar role.
3. Proficiency in MySQL database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
4. Experience working with T-SQL, PowerShell, and VB Scripts
5. Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
6. Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards.
