On behalf of a well -established, family -run business in West Dublin who have recently been acquired by a PLC investor, we are seeking a hands -on Financial Controller to run the finance function and support the business through its next stage.
As Financial Controller you will be the day -to -day finance lead, responsible for producing accurate management information, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting commercial decision -making during a period of change. This is a high -visibility, autonomous role with real scope to influence systems and future finance hires.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead month -end close and prepare management accounts, KPIs and variance analysis.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting and rolling cashflow projections.
* Prepare statutory accounting packs and liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
* Oversee sales ledger, purchase ledger and stock/inventory reconciliations; manage working capital.
* Provide commercial analysis (margin, cost of goods sold) to support operations and sales.
* Manage external providers (payroll, tax, banking) and co -ordinate integration activities with the investor group.
Qualifications:
o Qualified A ccountant (ACA or ACCA).
o 3–5 years' post -qualification experience in industry (commercial/SME environment preferred).
o Comfortable in a small -to -medium enterprise: practical, hands -on and flexible.
o Proficient in Excel and experienced with an ERP/accounting system.
o Clear communicator able to present financial information to non -finance stakeholders.
